ARRIVAL DAY

At Registration, all runners will complete the registration process. During registration, you will receive your race pack. Runners must please remember to present some sort of photo identification document (driver’s license, passport or ID book) as proof of identity. If a runner has not registered, they will not be allowed to start.

RUN BRIEFING

Race briefing will take place on Stage1 start line at 18:00 Saturday 7 October 2017

ACCOMMODATION

TENTED

Complimentary tented accommodation: Each runner receives a 3-man tent erected in advance along with a comfy mattress.* Please note: bring own bedding and pillow. Permanent shower and toilet facilities at the venue.

SUPPORTERS

Additional tents and mattresses can be booked online for family and supporters at R250 per tent and R90 per mattress for the weekend which will be erected in advance, ready for when you arrive.

LUXURY

Luxury option includes 2 nights accommodation at Fairview Guest Farm rooms.

Cash bar available on premises that has a selection of cold drinks, alcohol and snacks.

WATER

The race organisers supply water for the water points and consumption during each stage. All tap water in our race village is perfectly safe for drinking, and it is recommended that riders utilise our supply of drinking water.

Supporter meal tickets can be pre booked online @R650 pp and R350 for kids

BEVERAGES

Coffee and tea will be available at lunch, dinner and breakfast. Alcoholic and soft drinks will be on sale from the bar at the Main Building.

ENROUTE

Water points supply energy drinks, cold water, mini potatoes and KOEKSISTERS. Please check the route section for exact location of water points.

SUPPORT AND SERVICES

DURING THE RUN

You’ll need a head lamp for the Night Run. It is advisable that you carry water, cellphone, whistle and emergency food with you. There’s Neutral Support at designated points on the route should you not be able to run any further. Medics at the venue to assist incase you sustain an injury.

HEALTH INFORMATION

Medical service at each stage. Trained medical personnel will also be en route to handle any emergencies that may occur. More serious cases will be transferred to any of the local hospitals, where a more comprehensive service is available. Please remember to carry the details of your medical insurance with, in case of hospitalisation.
*Please ensure that you bring your personal medication as prescribed by your physician.
